Services

Each NexVoice service provides the subscriber with:

sqBullet_03.gif NexVoice Service Number (NVSN):

A unique NexVoice service number per ordered line that enables subscribers to make/receive telephony VOICE calls. This number may either be newly allocated by Nextep or ported from an existing service.

sqBullet_03.gif Advanced Call Features:

A suite of call features that can turn any Plain Old Telephone Service (POTS) into a powerful voice communications system (Eg. Call Forwarding, Caller ID DIsplay, Call Blocking..etc). Users are empowered to manage their service via the call management portal provided with the NexVoice service or via an easy to use interactive voice menu.

Each NexVoice subscriber can conveniently access and manage their service profile and feature settings via one of two different modes:

  1. Users seeking an improved customer-experience with voice services can enjoy the friendly NexVoice web-interface that can be accessed anywhere where there is an available internet connection. This access mode can be found at www.nexvoice.com.au under Manage Your Service.
  2. Subscribers can also access their service settings via an IVR (Interactive Voice Response) system that allows users to enter user access codes (DTMF) to update their call-settings

sqBullet_03.gif Competitive Call Rates:

Calls made On-Network (between two NexVoice subscribers) are FREE while competitive call-rates are provided for all Call Types that are made Off-Network to the PSTN/Mobile Network.

sqBullet_03.gif SLA (Service Level Agreement)

All NexVoice services are sold with a Service Level Agreement that guarantees carrier-grade opertion and reliability.

sqBullet_03.gif Customer Premises Equipment 

Customer Premises Equipment(CPE) include Analogue Telephone Adaptors (ATA) and IP telephony enabled devices that mediate between the NexVoice network and the end-users.

CPE required depends on the application, whether the user is making calls directly from analogue telephone, a Key Telephone System(KTS) or Private Automatic Branch Exchange(PABX).

Nextep can provide CPE that are guaranteed to successfully operate on the NexVoice network, alternatively CPE that have been tested and certified with Nextep can be pruchased directly from suppliers.

NexVoice also supports direct IP connection to Next Generation CPE devices including IP telephone and IP PABX's.
