Accessing the NexVoice Call Features

Call Feature management is accessible to users that have subscribed to a NexVoice services that has allocated to it a unique NexVoice Service Number.

Accessing the IVR menu

The IVR menu may simply be accessed by dialling the shortcut code *9900 from the analogue handset connected to your NexVoice service. The IVR will respond with a welcome message, authorising the user to access call-feature options at the level-0 of the menu.

Navigating the IVR menu

Once the user is authorised to access the IVR, the IVR menu is easily navigated by responding to automatic voice menu options by pressing the appropriate numeric-key to manage a particular call feature.

The # key is used to navigate between any two levels of the IVR menu. At any given menu level-N, the # key will navigate the user up one level to level-N-1, where N represents the respective menu level. The # key will terminate the IVR session if the IVR is already at level-0 of the menu structure.

If you access the IVR menu using a shortcut to a particular feature, the # key will terminate the IVR session immediately.

Remotely access the IVR menu

The IVR menu can also be remotely accessed by dialling any of the following remote IVR numbers with a valid and authorised password.

Upon dialling one of the IVR numbers above, the user will be prompted to enter their 10-digit user id (including the area code) and associated pin number.

Accessing the NexVoice Customer Control Web Site

User Login

Users can manage call-features associated with their service online by browsing at the following URL location

·        Browse to http://nexvoice.nextep.com.au

The user will be presented with the following menu screen on the NexVoice welcome page. The user can access the NexVoice Customer-Control by selecting the “Login” option at the top right hand corner of the page.

The user will be automatically forwarded to the following login module. To gain web-access to the NexVoice Call Management feature, the user is required to login with a valid User-ID and Password.

Upon successful login, the user will be presented with a top level menu that contains a new menu option called, “My Service“. The user will also notice at the top right hand side of the page, that the default user is “NexVoice User“.

Updating User registration details

Click on “NexVoice User” in the horizontal menu to edit your user profile.

The user is encouraged to update their user profile to the best of their knowledge to correctly identify themself, the address where the service is located and provide us with a valid contactable email-address. The information contained within this page is used for internal purposes only and all information contained within this profile is kept confidential according to the NexVoice privacy policy. All subsequent logins to this will automatically welcome the user by that name provided in the Register Form.

The User-ID is the unique NVSN identifier.

Password Change

The user is encouraged to change their user password during their first login.

Call Feature management

The user can modify any of the fields below to manage subscribed call features belonging to their NexVoice service. For a full explanation of what these features are and how they are managed, please refer to the Section called Feature Descriptions.
